Story
Jose grew up among coffee farmers. His love for coffee and his sense of quality have been with him since childhood. Today, on his farm in Vereda El Naranjal, at 1,900 meters above sea level, he produces exceptional Caturro coffee – along with avocados, lemons and oranges, in harmony with nature. The harvest is done by hand. Processing takes place in a micro wet mill on the estate, where Jose and his family carefully monitor every step. The innovation continues in the multi-level solar drying room that Jose himself designed. Natural light and winds control the drying process, and the beans gradually move between levels until they reach perfection. A cup of Jose’s coffee is not a coincidence. It is the result of dedication, knowledge and a constant search for balance. Even with the planting of Geisha, Jose is exploring how to improve both the taste and the resistance of the plants.
